The Morrone 9/11 Center develops education and training programs grounded in a comprehensive security umbrella that integrates information, physical, cyber, and personnel dimensions of safety and resilience. Working closely with its partner, the operational resource organization, INTERPORTPOLICE* – the International Association (Organization) of Airport and Seaport Police, the Center brings together subject‑matter expertise, operational experience, and lessons learned to support law enforcement, public safety, and security professionals.
Through staff facilitation and collaboration with partner authorities and agencies, the Morrone 9/11 Center fosters a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement—enhancing preparedness, coordination, and professional practice across complex operational and threat landscapes.
* INTERPORTPOLICE – International Association (Organization) of Airport and Seaport Police is an operational partner of the Morrone 9/11 Center for Counterterrorism and Security. Through their joint education partnership, they work collaboratively with law enforcement and public safety agency personnel worldwide. INTERPORTPOLICE holds consultative status with United Nations agencies, including the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC – 1986) and the International Maritime Organization (IMO – 2009). INTERPORTPOLICE also holds the Vice Chair position of the Information Sharing Group for NATO's Combined Joint Operations from the Sea – Center of Excellence (CJOS COE), and is cited in the U.S. Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002 (MTSA) as a consultative training resource.

A cross-agency training program designed for ferry and cruise vessel security teams, port authorities, and first responders — delivering coordinated active shooter and hostile event response protocols for maritime passenger environments.
